Well, the fun's over. I got back from Cape Cod this morning, mreh. I already miss it... ;__; My cat Neo wouldn't stop meowing and just bugging the hell out of me in general when we got back, lol. The poor guy missed me; he was literally meowing, purring and kneading into my arms and back all through the night. Rocky just kinda flopped over and purred, and then disappeared, lol.
Anyway, for only being there for a week (my family and I pretty much went up there for my grandparents' 50th anniversary) we got to do quite a few things, like visit Nantucket (it's so disgustingy quaint and adorable, lol), Boston (we got to see Fenway Park, woot!), Sandwich (it has the most adorable English tea house ever) and Provincetown (awesome gay-friendly town with great culture and amazing food), and of course we just had to get lobster rolls, om nom nom! >83 It blows my mind how much friendlier the people are up north and how the food is always perfect compared to down south.
So, the vacation this year, although short, was a tad different, mainly because my parents got into a discussion about moving back to the Cape! We looked at a couple of houses for sale and are going to keep tabs on them, and my dad could easily be hired back to his old job when we used to live up there, and the business is expanding which is great. Of course the move might not end up happening at all, but the fact is that it could work out so well since we're all sick of Florida and I am considering pursuing graduate courses at Dartmouth University in Cape Cod, so if we did move I would be close to home when going to college. If we do end up moving however, I would have to stay behind in Florida until I finish up at UCF, which is not a big deal. So, it might or might not happen and I won't get my hopes up, but I shall have my fingers crossed. ^_^
That's all for now, meh peeps! =]
